After the successful Photokina launch of the M-Y family, a range of easy and compact tripods, Manfrotto, is now proud to present the new carbon version: the M-Y CARBON tripod (732CY).

Designed and manufactured with high level technical solutions coming from the Manfrotto know-how in professional products, the M-Y Carbon, thanks to the carbon fiber that allows for higher rigidity and lower weight, is the perfect solution to get the best photographic performance.
The payload of the M-Y Carbon (3,5Kg) is the highest among the M-Y range.

Moreover, the M-Y carbon introduces the innovative Expander, a new mechanical fixing of the first leg section to the collar, that allows the M-Y carbon to be more reliable and stable. This expanding system allows to tighten the leg to the collar, keeping always a high rigidity and assuring a long lasting performance.

This new tripod is the perfect solution offered to the new generation photographers that are looking for good performances together with lightness and portability: when folded the 732CY reaches a compact size of 42,5cm, with an opened height of 134,5cm and a total weight of less than 1Kg.

Always aiming to satisfy the photographers’ needs in terms of performance and ergonomics the Manfrotto ball heads family has been completely renewed.

With an eye on and to ergonomics, the heads and the knobs have been redesigned in order to be more ergonomic and easier to handle.

The Manfrotto ball heads range provides different solutions for different needs, with a payload range that goes from 2kg to 8kg.

The first 3 models to be launched (492, 494 and 496) will substitute the previous models, in a way that all the range will be renewed. Two codes will feature the quick release plate (494RC2 and 496RC2), and three codes will identify the heads featuring a simple plate (492, 494 and 496).

To these 3 heads another one will be following soon, the big 498, also with quick release plates versions (498RC2 / 498RC4).

The ball heads family features a completely new friction control which allows micro movements without opening/closing the head lock. The friction control is present in all models except the small 492 head.

The locking lever is also repositionable, in a way that you can place it in the most convenient position for you to handle it. This smart feature makes it easier and quicker to work with this head.

Moreover, the models featuring the quick release plate, include a further safety system that avoids the accidental detaching of the camera from the head.

The video bags range comprises the new redesigned M-bags, available in 6 models with different lengths.

The new Baby Lightweight Stands are extendible to between 240cm and 385cm, with various payloads between 4kg and 10kg and all feature the new Quick Stack System (QSS) patented by Manfrotto.
